Description

Secret Item Games is an indie game company from Lünen, Germany. Have you ever heard of a company where a mother and her son are building video games together? Now you have!

History

Early history

Oswald Weber dreamed about creating video games since he got his first console, the Sega Mega Drive with the age of four. Since then he refused to let go of that dream. That dream led him into make his bachelor of Science with focus on Game Development. While studying things like "Indie Game the Movie" and a lot of other Indies inspired him to go out and try creating games himself. He finished university early 2014 and started to work as an Indie Game Developer.

After that

He began to work on his first commercial project, Super Paperman, in March 2014. While developing the game he noticed that doing everything from programming to art himself would delay the development for years. So he persuaded his mother, Olga Rudi, to assist him in developing his game by letting her do the art. Five months later in August 2014 he founded the company Secret Item Games in preparation to announce his first game to the world at the Poznan Game Arena(PGA) in Poland. Since then Oswald has been showing his game Super Paperman on exhibitions like PGA, A Maze and Quo Vadis.
